At the Ali Kagu Lawan Foundation, we believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, restoring dignity, and building brighter futures. Yet, millions of children—especially in underserved and conflict-affected areas—are still out of school or unable to learn in safe, equipped environments.
Our Education Access program is focused on removing barriers and creating opportunities for children who are often left behind, particularly girls, orphans, displaced children, and those in rural or fragile communities.
Girls’ Education: Encouraging enrollment, retention, and re-entry of girls into school.
Back-to-School Drives: Mobilizing communities to bring out-of-school children back to the classroom.
Teacher Training: Equipping educators with modern skills and resources.
Learning Materials: Supplying books, uniforms, and school kits to students in need.
Safe Learning Spaces: Promoting schools as safe zones, free from violence and exploitation.
Education is more than a classroom—it is a lifeline. It protects children from exploitation, delays early marriage, promotes health, and unlocks opportunities for a better life. For many underprivileged children, school is the only safe space they know. That’s why we are deeply committed to removing every barrier that stands between a child and their right to learn.
As we prepare to launch our first education projects, we are identifying high-need communities, assessing local challenges, and mobilizing resources. Our next steps include renovating schools, training teachers, and distributing learning materials to ensure that every child not only goes to school—but thrives there.
